Question: Supplemental note S5.C requires 100% ultrasonic inspection in accordance with MIL-STD-271 prior to any machining, with acceptance standards per AMS 2631, Classification A1, Grade 1. Can you confirm whether the material furnished by the Navy will have this inspection completed prior to delivery, along with any applicable inspection reports and certifications? Answer: The Barstock will be provided with Ultrasonic Testing already completed. All other terms and conditions remain the same. The purpose of this Amendment is to extend the hour and date specified for the reciept of offers to 5:00pm local time on 12 of November. All of the other terms and conditions will be the same. The purpose of this Amendment is to correct the description of the GFM to barstock that is 36 inches in length and 4.5 inches in diameter. Additionally, the hour and date specified for reciept of offers has been extended to 5:00pmlocal time on 29 of October. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate required clauses for GFM and extend the solicitation closing date. Please reference the pages that follow for further information. The government shall provide barstock (NIIN:014959538X2)that are 36 inches in length and 2 inches in diameter. The hour and date specified for reciept of offers has been extended to 4:00pm est on 15 October 2026. All other terms and conditions remain the same. The purpose of this ammendment is to incorporate NAVSUP WSS local text WSSTERMHZ12. This requirement requires access to NOFORN and/or Naval Nuclear PropulsionInfomation.
