For purposes of this section, Return is defined as physical receipt of the F-condition asset at the contractor?s facility as reflected in the Action Date entry in the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system. In accordance with the CAV Statement of Work, the contractor is required to accurately report all transactions by the end of the fifth regular business day after receipt and the Action Date entered in CAV must be dated to reflect the actual date of physical receipt. The Contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the Government for all assets within the RTATs established in this contract. This solicitation incorporates the option to utilize Additive Manufacturing (AM) for this requirement. Specifically, the solicitation incorporates local term WSSTERMHZ22 (HZ22LN) ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING INTERCHANGEABILITY in Section H and a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) requiring reporting the use of Additive Manufacturing to the Technical Data Package (TDP). The Government encourages the integration of AM solutions where feasible and advantageous. Offerors are permitted to incorporate AM methodologies into their initial proposal submission, provided it can be accomplished without jeopardizing established delivery or submittal milestones. Proposal submissions SHOULD NOT be delayed in order to include AM processes. Any prospective AM implementation may be submitted and evaluated post-award in accordance with the provisions established by this solicitation.
