The Work generally consists of improvements to the upflow anerobic sludge blanket reactor No. 2. improvements include; trough and weir hardware replacement, scum plates, gas boot replacements, liner repairs, cover gasket repairs, interior piping repairs, installation of two pressure relief valves (Owner Supplied), and other miscellaneous improvements. The City Engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost for the Work is $495,000. The Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket Reactor is a proprietary process, as a result, Contractor shall purchase all items listed in the “Bill of Materials” on Drawing 463-00 from Veolia Water Technologies, Inc., 3600 Horizon Blvd., Trevose, PA 19053.
