Add the following to the solicitation notes: "At the time of quote submission, the contractor shall provide a copy of the applicable repair stations certification and written confirmation from the certified repair station that an FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag, FAA Authorized Released Certificate will be provided with the repaired part. The FAA Form 8130-3 is required to accompany the repaired part upon delivery. Failure to provide the required documentation and confirmation at the time of quote submission may render the quote ineligible for award." \ THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO UPDATE THE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE STATUS. This solicitation is for the repair of a commercial off the shelf (COTS) item for the P8 aircraft. This solicitation will be using competitive procedures. The evaluation criteria for this requirement will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The Government intends to make a single award to the eligible, responsible quoter whose quote is technically acceptable and which is determined most advantageous to the Government, price considered. Offerors are instructed to submit Firm Fixed Prices for any quote submittal. If determined necessary by the Navy, the offeror agrees to provide adequate pricing information upon bidding to assist the Navy in its fair and reasonable price determination. If only one acceptable quote is received in response to this solicitation,competitive procedures will shift to sole source negotiations. Offers must be received before and/or by the closing due date to be considered. Quotes received after the closing date are considered to be late and will not be considered for award.
